This study examines Pakistan’s potential role as a diplomatic mediator in facilitating a peace accord between the United States and Iran and assesses its implications for regional security. Positioned at the crossroads of South Asia, the Middle East, and Central Asia, Pakistan maintains strategic relations with both Washington and Tehran, enabling it to serve as a credible bridge for dialogue. The research explores the diplomatic initiatives, geopolitical considerations, and confidence-building measures that could support conflict resolution between the two adversaries. It further analyzes how a successful U.S.–Iran peace accord could contribute to regional stability by reducing proxy conflicts, easing sectarian tensions, enhancing economic cooperation, and strengthening collective security mechanisms. At the same time, the study evaluates the challenges Pakistan may face, including external pressures, regional rivalries, and domestic constraints. The findings suggest that effective Pakistani mediation could enhance peace, promote regional cooperation, and elevate Pakistan’s diplomatic standing in international affairs.
